Our Women's ministries group provides an outstanding opportunity for ladies fellowship & learning.

     Womens Ministries met June 17th and opened the meeting with prayer led by Lorene Dial. The Lovegift Emphasis was written by Vicki Smith who serves as a missionary at Faith Home Honduras.

     The lesson was led by Charlotte Pritchett. The focus was to meditate on God's word and allow Him to change us for His purpose. John 13:15 gives us Jesus as our example to follow. The lesson also stated when we are searching for contentment in our lives, we are easily derailed by our tendency to compare our lives to those around us. To take another step in cultivating the contentment quotient in your heart, pray for the ability to focus your attention on Jesus instead. He is your source of contentment and He is your pattern for living contentedly.

     Special Thanks to everyone who provided supplies for Chihuahua Ministries. Our workteam delivered 14 sweatshrts, 20 pairs of gloves, 83 sock hats, 75 blankets, 41 mens caps, 35 Christmas stockings, and 1 box of miscellaneous Christmas items.

     Our group WILL NOT meet in July. The next meeting will be August 19th at 7:00 P.M. at the church. The lesson will be "The Source of Contentment" and the scripture text is Psalm 16:2 which states, "O my soul, you have said to the Lord, "You are my Lord, my goodness is nothing apart from you."
